Refund Policy

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your PresentationMate subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • When you cancel: Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • After cancellation: You retain access until your paid period ends, then your account reverts to inactive status
  • Your data: Transcripts and feedback are retained for 90 days after your last session, then automatically deleted

Refunds

We generally do not offer refunds for:

  • Partial billing periods after cancellation
  • Unused time on your subscription
  • Forgetting to cancel before renewal
  • Dissatisfaction with AI feedback quality

We may offer refunds at our discretion for:

  • Technical issues that prevented you from using the Service
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Exceptional circumstances

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] within 7 days of the charge
  2. Include your account email and the reason for your request
  3. We'll respond within 5 business days

Disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first:

  • This may result in immediate account suspension
  • We will provide transaction records to the payment processor
  • Please contact us first — we're reasonable people

Regional Considerations

Your statutory rights under local consumer protection laws are not affected by this policy. If local law requires us to offer refunds in certain circumstances, those laws apply.
